Solar savings calculations,
as an API
Accurate, per-address solar savings analysis for California. Real utility rate schedules, hourly load profiles, and 25-year financial projections — in a single API call.
How it works
Address in, savings out
Send an address and system configuration. Get back a complete financial picture.
1. Locate
Geocode the address. Identify the utility territory, rate schedule, and CEC climate zone.
2. Simulate
Build an 8,760-hour load profile and solar generation curve using NREL-calibrated models.
3. Calculate
Apply real TOU rates, NEM tariffs, and battery dispatch to produce before/after bills and 25-year NPV.
Built for Accuracy
Our Data Methodology
We don't rely on simple monthly averages or guesswork. Every quote is powered by a high-resolution, physics-based simulation engine.
8,760-Hour Precision
Instead of monthly estimates, we simulate all 8,760 hours of the year. We adjust baseline climate profiles against your actual consumption to model exactly when power is used.
Hyper-Local Climate Data
We map coordinates using proprietary mapping and a California Energy Commission (CEC)-backed recognition formula to pinpoint your exact utility territory and climate zone, accounting for 50-meter border overlaps.
Weather-Adjusted Profiling
We decompose energy usage into heating, cooling, and baseload components, dynamically adjusting them against localized weather data to accurately mirror seasonal shifts.
Directional Solar Modeling
We cross-reference system hardware, roof tilt, and azimuth with NREL production metrics to calculate exactly how much power your specific layout will generate.
Physical Battery Simulation
We model real-world state-of-charge, charge/discharge limits, and round-trip efficiency losses based on real hardware specs to accurately forecast battery savings.
Complex Tariffs & NEM 3.0
We run the hourly net usage against actual utility rate engines. We handle TOU arbitrage, non-bypassable charges, and true Avoided Cost Calculator (ACC) export credits.
